These steps are as the following:
Update the device's drivers
you are experiencing trouble with from the manufactures website.
Example: Adaptec SCSI Controller keeps dropping the RAID 5 Array.
Go To Adaptec.com
and download the latest drivers for the card.
Upgrade the device's firmware revision if applicable.
If you have a RAID system and are experiencing trouble with either
the controller card or the drives, contact the RAID Manufacture of
the device you are having trouble with first. This is important because
the manufacture of the RAID device will much better aid you in solving
your issue because they are the maker of the card and know their product
thoroughly. (See below list of Contact Numbers for RAID Controller
Technical Support)
Adaptec
Technical Support - 1-321-207-2000 (must have your
TSID # ready) TSID # is located on the Controller Card Itself
and in the "Documentation Package" supplied with your
server. (Contained on a small white sticker).
After you have come to a conclusion on what is wrong with your machine,
